Nice Redfish on a Fly lineSight Casting For Redfish...
Fly fishing for Redfish is one of the unique opportunities we have available. We enjoy the BEST redfishing in the world! While fishing with one of my favorite Venice guides, I caught and released 65 of these beauties in one memorable morning. On a typical trip an angler can expect 10 or more shots at trophy redfish, with an occasional speckled trout or flounder as an added bonus.

Largest Tuna for the DayOffshore/Bluewater
Trips to target giant yellowfin tuna, wahoo, white and blue marlin and other pelagic species can be had just minutes off the passes of the Mississippi River. In the months of Dec - March, you can book a trip to the famous Midnight Lump or Sackett Banks, where trophy Yellowfin, Mako Sharks and other species are chummed up to the back of your boat. Nothing is more exciting than watching a 150-pound Yellowfin strike your bait and scream off 400 yards of line in a split second. If you
are looking to score a big tuna on fly, there is no better place in the world than the Midnight Lump. In the summer months, the same species move to the offshore oil rigs and along the rips. In addition, Mahi-Mahi, Cobia and Tripletail are frequent visitors to the riplines, and are excellent tablefare.

Red Snapper, Offshore bottom fishing around the RigsOffshore Bottom Fishing Around The Rigs
Louisiana is blessed with an abundance of rigs and floating platforms scattered throughout the Gulf of Mexico. These structures hold quality Red Snapper, Grouper, Amberjack, Mangrove Snapper and Cobia. If you like to target Red Snapper, the season opens each year in April and generally closes in October. Book your trip early to get in on some of the best action. These fish can be targeted on fly tackle as well and many trophy fish in excess of 20-pounds are possible.

Trophy Speckled Trout on a Fly lineTrophy Speckled Trout
Louisiana enjoys some of the most liberal limits on Speckled Trout. During the spring spawn, you can expect to catch plenty of quality fish in the 3 to 4 pound range, with an occasional trophy of 7-8 pounds not uncommon. These fish are targeted using spin, baitcast or fly tackle. Many local restaurants will prepare your cleaned catch for you upon your request.

Blast-N-Cast
- Venice and Mytle Grove both offer quality waterfowl hunting, combined with
tackle-busting Redfish. You will be transported to your blind in shallow draft boats known locally as Go-Devils. These guides lease private areas for their clients to enjoy. Ducks as well as Geese are available at the end of the Mississippi Flyway near the pristine Delta Wildlife Refuge. After a morning hunt, out come the rods and the Redfish action begins. This is a great way to entertain clients and customers, or a perfect father-son get-a-way.
