“Fishing Adventures With The Most Professional & Productive Guides In South Louisiana"

Susan Gros, Large Yellow Fin Tuna
From quietly stalking Redfish in skinny water at daybreak, to targeting giant Yellowfin Tuna, Wahoo and Dolphin offshore, multi-IGFA World Record holder Susan Gros has done it all. After many years of hiring the top guides to assist her in her quest to be the best, she offers YOU, the traveling angler a chance at that trophy fish. In her many years in the corporate world, she spent thousands of dollars chartering guides and developed a special rapport with the finest Louisiana has to offer. Reel Louisiana Adventures prides itself in recommending only the most professional, personable and productive guides.

There are numerous guides to choose from, and Susan takes great pride in matching the client with the right guide for the type of fishing they want to do. "No surprises at the dock." If you want to flycast for tailing Redfish, you will be matched with the right guide who has the proper fly equipment and boat to make your trip memorable.

Redfish caught on a fly lineIf your desire is to tackle offshore species, you'll be matched with full time captains who fish these waters year-round with top of the line equipment and the skills necessary to put you on fish consistently. Venice, LA. is among Susan's favorite places in the world to fish. From the vast marshes and estuaries of the Mississippi River Delta, to the deep blue waters offshore in the Gulf of Mexico. Venice and the areas south of New Orleans offer anglers unlimited possibilities. Inshore anglers can expect to catch Redfish, Speckled Trout, Black Drum and Flounder. Venture a few miles out and tangle with Cobia, Red Snapper, Grouper, Amberjack and Dolphin.

Large Yellow Fin TunaFeel like pulling on something a little larger? Head offshore to tangle with the mighty Yellowfin Tuna, which can be caught year-round and weigh up to 200-pounds. The speedy Wahoo, Blue Marlin, White Marlin and Mahi-Mahi frequent these waters in the months of May-July. Tuna fishing is also excellent in the cold months of Dec-Feb when the fish move to an area known as the Midnight Lump or Sackett Banks. This natural rise in the Gulf attracts monster tuna to 200 feet of water, making the quarry easily caught after being chummed up behind the boat.

Red Snapper on Bottom FishingIf you prefer to bottom or rig fish, Red Snapper, Grouper, Monster Amberjack and Mangrove Snapper frequent the many oil rigs and floating platforms in the Gulf. Pull up to one of these, drop a bait down and HANG ON for non-stop action.
